About Us

Lost and Found Adventures is operated by Cheryl and Ken Butler, with help from family and friends.

2012 will be our 25th RAGBRAI.

Ken, known as Ken, Kenneth, Kenny, Lester, Les, or Cheryl's Husband has rode all 25 years, from 1987 to 2011.  I (Cheryl) rode for 14 years before stopping in 2001, and then so not to miss RAGBRAI started helping out with the clubs ride.  From 2003 to 2008 I volunteered to operate the Pottawattamie Pedalers Club RAGBRAI.  In October of 2009 I  made arrangement  with RAGBRAI to start this new adventure with our friends.

I do the logistical arrangements, hotel, food, ice breaker, truck crew, and the info updates. While always looking for new ideas to make the camping part of RAGBRAI better.  While on RAGBRAI, I'm the scout. I find the camp sight and try to keep camp in order.    Les does most of the behind scene stuff, building racks, plumbing for the water heater, loading the truck and clean up the gear before and after RAGBRAI.  While on RAGBRAI, Les and Ken ride and help in camp in the evenings.  At the end of the week they help  get us loaded to headed home.
We have  two son,  Ken and his Wife, Tracey,  Ken created our phone charging set-up.  He also helps with setting up the truck and in camp during the week.    Tracey, our  Granddaughter Ashley, Nieces Alexis and Brittany are the hostess for the Ice Breaker on the opening day.  Our son Josh is the truck driver and camp coordinator.  Josh will be able to help with most of your camp needs.  My sister Nurse Kellie and her Husband, Bruce like to join in when they can.....  This year I plan on bringing Josh's childern, Rebecca and Josh to help me.    We're very thankful for family.....
